I n the fight against Autism there are many unsung heroes who have contributed to the advancement of research and best practice policies. Mrs. Smith, A long time Social worker for the New York City Department of Social Services is one such person. This Stipend, established in her honor, is directed towards assisting families with loved ones on the Autism Spectrum. The objective of the Stipend is to make resources available to those families, and by extension, those diagnosed with one of the family of diagnoses that comprise Autism, who might not otherwise be able to access them.

This course brings functional behavior assessment and analysis into the twenty-first century . We will embark on a journey by first reviewing contemporary F.B.A. development techniques which rely on the three step contingency of interview, direct observation, and summary, identifying the problems inherent with current formulations being advanced.

This course is presented in either live or audio formats. The live format consists of a full-day, hands- on workshop in which most of the tools and strategies discussed will be available for demonstration. The objective here is to present concepts and methods that will allow you to cost-effectively build and run your practice or agency.
