Alternatives is an independent Employee Assistance Program (EAP) specialty organization that has been providing superior EAP and related behavioral risk management services since 1982. Alternatives is a for-profit Kansas Chartered C Corporation, headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri. In 1999, Alternatives was acquired by a private group with over 60 years of EAP and managed behavioral health experience, The Community Network of Behavioral Healthcare (CommCare).

Alternatives is one of the Midwest's premier employee assistance program and behavior risk solutions specialty organizations. Alternatives has been providing superior custom built services since 1982 throughout the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, and Mexico. Other strategic relationships extend our reach to Great Britain, Europe, China, Japan, and Australia.
