Description

Mandy comes from a family of artists, choosing the camera as her paintbrush and palette. She has been an active photographer for over 20 years, and is currently working as a photographer in the Baltimore Metropolitan Area. Her experience includes architecture, portraits, weddings, events, travel, and fine art. In 2005 one of Mandy’s photos was selected as a Kodak “Picture of the Day” and displayed in Times Square. In 2006 her photos were selected as “Grand Champions” of both the Howard County and Maryland State Fairs. Her work has also been displayed at the f/64 Gallery, Ellicott City, and the Columbia Arts Center, Columbia, MD. She is an active member of the Central Maryland Photographers Guild (CMPG) and also serves on its Board of Directors. Mandy is also a member of the Professional Photographer's of America (PPA). Mandy strives to capture the extraordinary in the ordinary. She has the ability to take a simple, straightforward subject and, through the use of creative lighting and composition, turn it into a lasting work of art.
