Description
The railway transportation in Ghana has continuously deteriorated over the years and services have been limited to specific sections of the railway network, providing low quality, limited service to the public. The Ghana Railway Company Limited (GRCL) has embarked on an initiative to re-equipping itself with advanced rolling stock units to increase its scope and quality of service to passengers.
The Ghana Railway Company Limited (GRCL) is a government organization with limited capacity to maintain and service the Diesel Multiple Units (DMUs) commissioned into service in 2010. Amandi has taken particular interest in ensuring the ongoing availability and operation of the DMUs for passenger service; thus a maintenance and training service agreement between GRCL and Amandi was concluded.
