This site is designed as a resource for the field of autonomous robotics. We want to push the envelope and be part of the exciting discoveries that will happen in autonomous robotics. For each project that we build we will include a complete history of the project and explain why we went specific directions. Our first project is a robotic head designed as an attention getter for retail marketing. Since our focus is on autonomous operations our initial goal will be to interact with the crowd. The robot will include sensors to detect motion and then deliver a presentation to the crowd based on the senor inputs. The eyes will attempt to get and hold eye contact with people in the crowd while it selects from a variety of presentation options. We are actively involved in First Robotics as a mentor to Eagle Robotics, the local high school robotics team. We think this is a great program and we recommend that you find a team in your local area and volunteer to help the next generation of technologists.
