Ambush Entertainment was founded in 2001 by partners Miranda Bailey, Francey Grace, Matthew Leutwyler and Jun Tan with the philosophy of producing a wide variety of feature films, from adventures and romances to comedies, genre films and prestige dramas. The company internally develops and produces one to two films per year. While Ambush develops and produces films of all genres and budget sizes, the company has the ability to finance and co-finance films with smaller budgets. Ambush has also recently branched into television development.
