Description

AMCOR was established in 1967 as a division of Rossborough Supply Company in Cleveland, Ohio. Rossborough Supply was founded in 1942 by chemist Alexander Rossborough to develop, manufacture and supply specially formulated chemical compounds called fluxes to aluminum foundries. AMCOR has grown considerably over the years and currently manufactures products in four locations; Medina, Ohio; Lorain, Ohio; Chicago, Illinois; and Florence, Alabama.

Specialty Compounds – We provide a variety of compounds, including mold wash, degassing compounds, hot topping compounds, and anti-solder paste for foundries.

Started in 1967, American Metal Chemical Corporation (AMCOR), headquartered in Medina, Ohio, is a leading supplier of wet fluxes, specialty fluxes and foundry products to the metal casting industry.

AMCOR’s philosophy is to maintain diligent cost controls while providing consistent, quality products. Additionally, AMCOR’s focus is to develop products for an increasingly wide range of melting and casting industries. The industries served include primary and secondary aluminum processing, rolled products, dross processing, extrusion and billet, aluminum, magnesium and zinc die casting and gray iron and steel foundries.
