The American Bureau of Collections was founded in 1929, providing domestic commercial collections for clients in New York State. Since then, the company, now called ABC-Amega Inc., has grown into a world-class receivable management firm specializing in multinational corporations in nearly every business-to-business industrial category worldwide.

ABC-Amega's precursor, the American Bureau of Collections, was founded in 1929 in Buffalo, New York to provide third-party commercial debt collection for U.S. and Canadian creditors. From its origins as a one-man operation, the company has grown into a world-class receivable management firm supporting thousands of small to multinational clients worldwide.
