In the early ‘70s, Mark Spinicelli began working as a technician setting up projectors and screens for business meetings. As technology transformed the AV business over the coming decades, Mark’s expertise grew as well. American Audio Visual, headquartered in The American Centre owned by sister company, Spinicelli Holding Corp., began in 1989 and is now a full service AV company featuring state-of-the-art equipment and a professional staff of highly trained technicians. Technology continues to change; the AAV commitment to service and expertise has remained the same.

Mark Spinicelli is the Founder and CEO of several companies based in Orlando, FL, including American Audio Visual, Spinicelli Holding Corp., and The Spinicelli Foundation. His career in the audio visual industry began in the 1970’s as a teenager working with a local vocal group, Life Unlimited. Soon after, he formed his first Orlando-based AV services firm, Southwind, as technology began to revolutionize the industry. Mark opened American Audio Visual in 1989 with the goal of providing cutting edge AV services at affordable prices. The company began with a headquarters in Orlando and an office in Tallahassee. With no formal training or education, Mark is a prime example of the American Dream becoming reality based on hard work and persistence. Today, AAV serves clients throughout the U.S. and abroad, and is often called upon to provide AV services in high-security political settings. Mark has worked with every President since the late 70’s. He serves on the Executive Board of the Central Florida Council of the Boy Scouts of America and was honored with the Silver Beaver award in 2010.

Tom Pittman holds an Associate Degree in Recording Arts and a Bachelor’s Degree in Entertainment Business from Full Sail University. Upon graduation in 2006, Tom joined American Audio Visual as a technician, working with local clients and traveling extensively for projects throughout the country. In 2008, Tom was promoted to AV Manager for AAV’s in-house office at the Villas of Grand Cypress where he managed all the AV requirements for the resort. In 2011, Tom was again promoted at AAV where he is now a Project Manager. He has worked with many charities, celebrities, corporations and associations throughout the United States.
