After nearly 50 years, American ED-CO continues it’s tradition of producing the highest quality safety lockouts available today. During the mid 1960’s Albert K. Reque Sr. designed and patented the American EDCO line of safety lockouts while residing in Warsaw, IN. In 1980, manufacturing operations were moved to Northwest Wisconsin and in 2009 Swanstrom Tools purchased the operations of American ED-CO from Kristi Reque-Hutton. American ED-CO is proud to continue the long tradition of offering the safety industry the finest steel lockouts on the market. All American ED-CO lockouts are proudly made in the USA.
