Retired South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) Chief Robert Stewart has 40 years of service in law enforcement and served four governors representing both parties. He has extensive experience in working with federal, state, and local agencies and units of government. As SLED Chief, his responsibilities took him to foreign countries, such as Israel, to experience and study homeland security and counterterrorism operations. He also traveled to Russia to evaluate the impact of the Moscow Police Command College, a U.S.

The prevailing goal at American Services is to provide our customers with the best available resources for their needs whether for Security, Staffing or Janitorial. Our Quality Service Assurance program serves as the on-going guide to consistently perform our duties as our clients expect and deserve.

Through our comprehensive services delivered by American Security, we answer the need for clients in corporate, distribution, health care, institutional and manufacturing markets as well as those with special-events requirements. Our Action Staffing business provides resource solutions for large-scale manufacturing and distribution center clients with large and small staffing needs.

American Security came into being 35 years ago as the vision of a retiring South Carolina Highway Patrolman named Henry Harrison who, today, serves as Chairman and CEO of American Services, Inc. From the beginning, American Security was built on personal service from every team member to give clients exactly what they need. We provide comprehensive security services that answer the need for clients in corporate, distribution, health care, institutional and manufacturing markets as well as those with special-events requirements.
