The mission of American Sensor Technologies, Inc. is to be "your sensor business partner..." AST was incorporated in New Jersey on January 9, 1997, by Richard E. Tasker, Michael P. Eldredge and Karmjit S. Sidhu, for the purpose of developing MEMS (Micro-Electro Mechanical Structures) pressure sensor products with their proprietary Krystal Bond™ Technology . AST manufactures its pressure sensors and related products in its Mount Olive, New Jersey USA facility, supporting customers with quick turnaround and quality instruments.

Linear Displacement Transducers | LVDT | Macro Sensors Macro Sensors designs and manufactures highly accurate, extremely rugged linear and rotary displacement transducers utilized in various applications and industries worldwide. When combined with the most advanced signal conditioning electronics, Macro Sensors offers a variety of solutions for position sensor monitoring for extreme temperature and pressure conditions. Through experienced technical support and engineering staff, Macro Sensors is able to support custom sensor requirements.

American Sensor Technologies, Inc. (AST) manufactures a variety of standard, semi-custom and custom products to meet OEM requirements for pressure measurement. From custom threads and materials to special output signals and electrical connections, AST manufactures solutions to satisfy OEM mechanical and electrical requirements.

Michael P. Eldredge , Executive Vice President, Chief Operating & Financial Officer and Secretary, brings business, management, and financial expertise to AST. Prior to AST, Michael Eldredge was the Vice President of Finance & CFO of Townley, Inc., a manufacturer and distributor of consumer products. Earlier, he was the Corporate Controller of Measurement Specialties, Inc., a developer and manufacturer of consumer and industrial electronic devices.

Macro Sensors - Pennsauken, NJ In June 2005, AST acquired Macro Sensors, in order to complement its pressure products with a full line of linear position sensors . Macro Sensors manufactures LVDT and RVDT position sensors in its Pennsauken, NJ facility. Markets supported include power generation, oil and gas, automation, industrial equipment, aerospace, UHV and more.
