We are dedicated to serving our customers’ needs. The ferrous metal we recover is kept out of landfills and is used to build new products. We strive to provide custom designed quality service, as well as help protect our natural resources. If something isn’t right, please let us know.

Our company has been a family owned and operated business for over thirty years. Our business has grown from a small operation in Greensburg, PA to sites all across the East Coast and Midwest including operations in Pennsylvania, Florida, and New Jersey.

American Steel Processing Company’s mission is to provide consistent, reliable service to the waste-to-energy industry.

American Steel started up five rail loading operations since 2002. These sites are served by a fleet of 64 company owned rail cars dedicated to hauling only American Steel controlled products. Post incinerated ferrous metal is brought by truck to the rail siding. The metal is either direct or batch loaded with an electromagnetic crane into waiting rail cars. The loaded rail cars, carrying 75-100 tons each, are then brought to mini mills to be processed into new products.
