Americollect's History: In 1964, Manitowoc Collection Services first opened their doors, serving hundreds of Manitowoc County businesses. Although the business had been successful for 30 some years, MCS changed its name in 1994 to Americollect to reflect its growth. In 1999, after 11 years of service as the collection manager, Kenlyn T. Gretz purchased Americollect. Starting at 12 employees, Kenlyn aggressively grew Americollect. Each year we have hired several employees to help with the addition of four to five large clients per year. In 2004, Americollect was awarded the small business of the year award from the Manitowoc Chamber of Commerce. Our growth has been in direct relationship to our partnerships with our client's tradeshow organizations, the understanding of mutually beneficial partnerships with key suppliers, and renewal of diversified market integration to create a better non-payer profile.
