The Law Office of Amie Rodnick is a full service law office offering comprehensive legal services to discerning clients who are seeking value for their money and alternatives to traditional litigation. Our practice is exclusively limited to family law, including divorce, adoption, collaborative law, modification, grandparents' rights, complex property cases, and arrangements involving nontraditional families. Amie Rodnick has over 33 years' courtroom experience in the Central Texas area, including Travis County, Hays County and Williamson County.

Giving back to the community is an important part of our practice. Amie has done volunteer work in the legal community for over 30 years, and has served on the boards of a number of nonprofits over the same time period.

Our focus is on collaborative law and mediation. While there are some cases which are appropriate for judicial intervention, litigation is expensive and can be highly destructive to children and families. A client going through a divorce or modification case is experiencing a major life crisis. We regard your family law matter as a problem to be solved, not a battle to be won. Amie has worked with some of the best local specialists in the mental health professions and encourages the use of therapists, coaches, and support groups, as necessary, to assist with the family law process.

Amie has handled over 70 collaborative cases and believes in using the team approach. She has worked with some of the best financial and mental health professionals in the Austin area on collaborative teams. She has served as the president of Central Texas Collaborative Family Lawyers, a member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals, a charter member of Collaborative Law Institute of Texas, and a senior Fellow with the Texas Institute of Collaborative law.
