Among Friends Quilt Shop, established in 2003, is owned by Wendy and Scott. Although the shop has only been opened since November of 2003, it currently is the home to over 5,000 bolts of quality cotton quilting fabrics, as well as a large selection of books, patterns, notions and tools. Among Friends carries fabric lines from dozens of the most popular manufacturers, such as Moda, Hoffman, Benartex, RJR, Marcus Brothers and Michael Miller to name a few. You will find a wide variety of styles such as marbles, reproductions, novelties, florals, calicos, homespuns, brights, batiks and more. The shop carries a variety of gift items including Heartwood Creek figurines by Jim Shore, as well as greeting cards from Saltbox Illustrations. We also have many fabric gift items such as fat quarter pizzas, quilt kits and fabric flower pots. All make great gifts for yourself or someone you know. Wendy and Scott wanted to create an atmosphere here that is inviting and friendly. The shop's cafe provides a place where you can enjoy a cup of coffee while visiting with a friend or two. You can sit and relax on one of the two leather sofas in our library section while browsing through the huge selection of books and patterns. Families are welcome at Among Friends, where there is something for everyone. A TV complete with cable, VCR and a remote sits in the cafe for family members, and a bookcase filled with books, puzzles and toys will be inviting to the little ones...
