We recommend a 1 year calibration interval for all of our meters. All of our products are sold fully calibrated traceable to the United States N.I.S.T. Our Technical Library also provides calibration procedures for all of our products. Almost any calibration laboratory (i.e. PMEL) can safely and easily calibrate the necessary annual calibration for any of our products in about 30 minutes.

The AMPTEC 620A engineering/product development team have 39 years of experience in defining, designing, manufacturing, and supplying ultra-safe igniter circuit testers. Our 36 year Igniter Tester background includes supplying earlier versions similar to the 620A design to the U.S. NAVY for use on the “CRUISE MISSILE” igniter circuits, also the U.S. Army for testing squibs on the “STANDARD MISSILE”, and RAYTHEON for use on the “PATRIOT MISSILE”.

Over the past 38 years, our experienced product engineers and staff have designed, manufactured, and supplied many versions of the AMPTEC 620 series and 630 Series Igniter Testers to the U.S. NAVY for the submarine launched Tomahawk Cruise Missile, the U.S. ARMY for the standard and TOW missile, and the U.S.A.F., to name a few.
