Description

The aMuze Interactive Knowledge Card System was originally developed by Crossroads Learning & Entertainment AB in Stockholm Sweden. Early and key financial support was provided by Stiftelsen framtidens kultur (Foundation for the Culture of the Future) and KK-stiftelsen (The Knowledge Foundation). The system was first installed at The Swedish Museum of Natural History as a part of their permanent exhibit on climate change, "mission:CLIMATE." The installation was sponsored by the Swedish insurance company, Folksam, and Sun Microsystems. In November 2005 Crossroads formed a subsidiary, aMuze Interactive AB for the sole purpose of further developing, marketing and distributing the aMuze! system. The ownership has since then been diversified and the leadership expanded. aMuze Interactive Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of aMuze AB has been incorporated in the state of Maryland in the USA in order to better serve the North American Market.
