ABOUT AMS Analytical Management Solutions, Inc. was founded in 1994 by L. Alex Staley, with the initial vision to provide alternative solutions to meeting project management and controls needs for large programs. With that vision in mind, AMS set out to recruit and develop the nation’s best expertise in project planning and scheduling, financial controls, and project management systems. With the addition of Laurence E. Smith in 1998, one of the pre-eminent risk management consultants in the world, AMS was able to continue to expand its practice areas, by providing more sophisticated consulting capabilities in the area of project risk management.
