AS IN THE PAST ...IF THE ROWAN COUNTY SCHOOLS ARE CLOSED BECAUSE OF WEATHER...WE ARE ALSO CLOSED !!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!! 2010 For all our New Customers: 1. Viking Club is for anyone with an interest in sewing. You do not have to have any specific machine. Dues are $25. per year. This entitles you to a 10% discount on all merchandise in our store [ Special discounts on machines], attendance to all Viking Club meetings, and a chance to win door prizes, and the help of knowledgeable sewing enthusiasts. Come and join us if you are not already a member, and feel free to bring a friend. 2. We have two types of machine classes, discussion and hands-on. Discussion is free and you do not have to bring your machine or sign-up. Hands-on is $10. to cover the cost of supplies, you must bring your machine and you must sign-up. We also have, one on one, which needs to be scheduled when you buy a new machine, to get you used to the machine before classes. 3. Computer applications class is open to anyone with our Viking software or is interested in purchasing our software. This class is free and you do not have to sign up. You should probably bring note taking supplies, and a blank floppy disk or a blank cd. 4. Project classes are to help you perfect your sewing skills, and to have fun with others who have similar interests. You must sign-up and bring your machine. Prices vary according to the project involved. 5. Sew-in...A sew-in is for anyone who did not finish a project and needs help to complete the project. You must sign-up and bring your machine and the project that you wish to finish, along with any instructions and supplies . There is no charge for a sew-in. MACHINE CLASSES: Designer Diamond Class....JAN 5.. !0am-12 or 6pm-8..Diamond owners...You do not have to sign up or bring your machine Embroidery Machine Class... DISCUSSION....JAN 7....10am-12 or 6pm-8 . You do not have to sign-up or bring your machine. Bring your questions SERGER CLASS...JAN.14...10AM-12 OR 6PM-8....$10...TO COVER THE COST OF SUPPLIES. You must sign up for this class. All sergers are welcome , New serger owners get preference. Designer SE Class... Jan 12....10am-12 or 6pm-8 ....discussion... SE owners... Computer Applications Class.... Jan 28....10am-12 or 6pm-8.. No sign-up and classes are free.
