Our History Joseph H. Claudon and his father, D. N. Claudon, began a general insurance agency in Valparaiso, Indiana, in 1939. With the addition of son-in-law Charles Anderson in 1945 and of grandsons William and Barth Anderson in 1977, Anderson Insurance celebrates four generations of the family business. Our firm conviction that our client's best interest is our primary responsibility is as important to us today as it was in 1939.

Sue Giangiulio has been working in the insurance industry since 1983. She has experience in commercial and personal lines as well as accounting. Sue joined Anderson Insurance in January of 2001. As a licensed agent she specializes in the commercial lines department providing underwriting and claim service to business clients. Sue and her husband have three grown children and two grandchildren who happily occupy much of their spare time.

Kim joined Anderson Insurance in June of 2012. She became a licensed insurance agent and now serves as a customer service agent in our personal lines department where she has become a valuable member of our team. Kim is an avid gardener and car buff. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her two children and her canine friends. Kim and her husband, Rich, have lived in Valparaiso for over 40 years.

Lynette O'Neil is a Customer Service Agent in our personal lines department. She graduated from Business College in 1986 and has been a licensed insurance agent with Anderson Insurance since 1986, having taken a few years off to spend time at home with her two children. She has experience in both commercial and personal lines but now specializes in all types of personal insurance. Lynette and her family enjoy many outdoor activities.
