Anderson, McCoy & Orta, a professional corporation ("AM&O") was established in 1992, for the purpose of providing legal services to the FDIC and RTC for troubled assets. AM&O also represented the RTC in the sell-off of commercial mortgages, the activity credited with spurring the CMBS industry. This work led to the firm handling commercial servicing matters for the first FDIC and RTC securitized pools for loans across the country. AM&O parlayed its national experience into working for most of the major lenders and loan servicers in the industry.
