Established in 1987, Anderson, Petersen & Company is a full-service CPA firm with over fifty-seven years of experience in providing quality accounting services. Our clients vary in size from large businesses to individuals.

Michael Petersen, Sr., is a graduate of the University of Utah and is a member of the AICPA and UACPA. He is past chairman of the UACPA and also served on the UACPA Awards Committee. He has over thirty-five years experience in public accounting primarily in two areas - tax and management consultation. Mr. Petersen's expertise is in preparation and review of complex individual, partnerships, corporate and fiduciary returns.

Michael Petersen, Jr., graduated from Brigham Young University's Marriott School of Management with his Bachelor of Science and Master of Accountancy with an emphasis in tax. He has over ten years of experience in public accounting, including three years with national accounting firms Ernst & Young and Arthur Anderson. Michael has experience in expatriate taxation and complex individual, partnership, corporate, and fiduciary tax returns. He is an Advanced QuickBooks ProAdvisor, consulting with clients on setting up QuickBooks and improving client efficiency with QuickBooks.

Ilene Helfrich received her Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration from State University of New York at Buffalo, New York, and has over twelve years of experience in public accounting with audit, tax, and accounting issues. She performs tax preparation and financial and single audits, including planning, supervision, fieldwork, and reports. Ilene is a QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor.
