Our Agency is rich with a History of well-known local insurance professionals. Most of the names; Georgeson, Anderson, Robinson, Stanberry, Shaw, Martins, Petersen, Harbers, Justus, Starkey, Malloy and Moranda; are known to every industry and trade in Northern California. The company was headquartered at 1033 G Street, Arcata for many years and was known at the time as Anderson Robinson & Associates and Guthrie Georgeson Insurance Agency. The Robinson family and their staff enjoyed an enduring reputation for the highest standards of professionalism and customer service. In 1995, the agency was sold to a partnership of Shaw & Petersen Insurance of Eureka and Harbers Insurance of Fortuna, with Steven Justus rounding out the financial services business. Needing additional space, the agency was relocated to its current headquarters at 1117 Samoa Blvd. Arcata CA. The solution for continuing professional service levels for the fast growing business was a merger with the Kenneth W. Starkey Agency. This added the needed management experiences of Kenneth Starkey and Brenda Malloy to maintain goals then set by the partners for professionalism and customer services. The name changed to Anderson Robinson Starkey Insurance Agency, Inc. Early 1999 brought us good fortune of purchasing the Earl Moranda Insurance Agency, complete with staff and customers to add to our servicing agency.
