Andrea has almost 30 years' experience as a practitioner and supervisor of others practicing in the Mental Health field, having held such job titles as Counselor, Family Therapist, Program Director, Clinical Director, Clinical Consultant, and now, Private Practitioner. She works with individuals, couples, families and groups in providing therapy for all manner of issues, inclusive of depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, grief, relationship, alcohol/drug and supportive therapy for gay/lesbian issues and alternative relationships. Her consistent use of Transpersonal Therapy assists her clients in developing authenticity. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor, and a Certified Counseling Supervisor, with a Doctorate of Divinity in Metaphysical Pastoral Counseling, and a National Board of Certified Counselors' Approved Provider of Continuing Education. She is also a Reiki Master/Teacher and Astrological Counselor, using both techniques to provide a higher awareness of authenticity. Andrea is a prolific writer, spending at least four hours of every day writing and editing her writing. She has written one book every year for the past several years while maintaining a thriving solo practice She has been published in several small literary presses. She has been the Editor of two small presses and is the winner of several literary awards in poetry. She has approximately 25 years' experience writing professionally, having written curriculum and policy and procedure in almost every institution for which she has worked, and is currently contracted to write core curricula for the American Institute of Holistic Theology. She has written several articles, which you can access and read on another page of this website. Andrea is self-motivated and dedicated to her craft, looking forward everyday to the opportunity to write again.
