Description
Angel Mist Farm sits on the property once known as Misty Mountain Farm where they raised Halflingers as well as Scottish Highlands Cattle. It has lots of stories to tell from the land and its landscape. It holds a beautiful church that is an exact replica of a church in maine. The previous owners wife Mrs. Marion Marsh had always love the architiect of this particular church, so her husband thougth what better way to show his wife how much he loved her, he had it built. Mr Marsh has always thought that the cemetary on the property needed a church by its side anyway. Yes as well we have a cemetary here at the farm. It is open with a right away to the public. There are many farmers from the area buried it, with the oldest gravestone dating back to 1931. Mr and Mrs. Marsh are the last to be buried there. He was deceased in 1997 and Mrs Marsh was laid to rest Thanksgiving Day 2002. God Bless their souls. They left behind a magnificent piece of property that my parents Kurt and Marilyn Showalter we lucky enough to purchase. With out the idea of beginning a horse farm on October 2001 Angel Mist Farm began.
