Description
Angelus Press was founded in 1978 in Dickinson, Texas by Fr. Carl Pulvermacher, OFM, as an apostolate of the Catholic Press of the Society of St. Pius X. We have continually published The Angelus magazine, "A Journal of Roman Catholic Tradition", since that time. We soon began to publish and print our own books on very rudimentary presses. Collation in those days was by hand! We now offer over three hundred titles, of which over 100 are our own publications. We no longer do our own printing, but we publish, warehouse and ship from our current location. From our humble Texan white shack, we moved, in 1992, to Kansas City, Missouri, occupying the basement and first floor of the SSPX's Regina Coeli House. Because of our continued growth, in 2002 we moved into our own 5,000 square foot facility just a stone's throw away from our former location. By the grace of God, after 3 more years of outstanding growth, this building is now itself barely big enough. Luckily we have room to grow and additions may not be far off. Our mission is to promote the immemorial Traditions of the Catholic Faith and the Tridentine Rite of Mass with an unswerving commitment to orthodoxy and the authentic magisterium of the Roman Catholic Church. We publish books and articles on a wide range of subjects, all relating in one way or another to the Faith - spirituality, theology, religious & family life, Church history, liturgy, the crisis in the Church, matters concerning the SSPX, etc...
