Anna's Uniforms was the culmination of a dream for immigrants Joe and Anna Stingu. As new immigrants, Anna first found work as a seamstress working for a uniform store and Joe as a butcher in a meat packing plant. After several years of saving they realized their dream of being able to start their own business. The two choices were either a uniform store or a butcher shop. The decision was simple and practical, as Joe observed 'meat goes bad, but clothing lasts'. Anna's Uniforms opened in 1972 inToday we are still family owned and operated.
