Houston, TX (November 4, 2013) - Antelope Oil Tool & Manufacturing Co., LLC ("Antelope") has acquired WearSox, L.P. ("WearSox"). Founded in 2004, WearSox is a pioneer in the development of thermal spray-on casing centralizers, stop-collars and stabilizers for the deep water and offshore segment of the oil and gas industry. WearSox's patent-protected process is unique in the industry, allowing for shapes to be built directly onto casing without affecting casing's metallurgical properties.

This slip-on centralizer consists of a slip-on 5" long steel collar with spiraled steel bars welded onto the outside for counter-clockwise pipe rotations and to assist in creating turbulence in the annulus. These centralizers are normally run between two stop collars to provide the casing a smooth bearing surface and reduced torque. Sizes are available for all standard casing sizes. Recommended for use with all standard casing grades.
