Anthem’s team has accumulated more than 50 years of venture capital experience. We were early venture investors in such companies as Apple Computer, Samna (Lotus’s word processor), Sequoia Software, HealthSouth, Phycor, Corporate Childcare Services, Immunicon and Sensors for Medicine and Sciences. Today, we bring this experience to bear on opportunities that match the following investment profile. Anthem invests exclusively in the Mid-Atlantic states and serves this area from offices located in three of the region’s key markets: the Baltimore–Washington corridor, the Greater Philadelphia market, and the Greater Pittsburgh market.
