Description
EcoActive Surfaces was founded in 2007 as a research and development company by Florida residents Stewart Averett and Janet Collum, entrepreneurs who saw the potential of the green chemistry of ‘light powered’ surfaces as an alternative to traditional chemistries of conventional antimicrobial coatings. They saw an opportunity to create a successful business combating the myriad problems caused by microorganisms, ranging from infection to surface degradation, in a safe and sustainable way.
Antimicrobial Test Laboratories' scientists are knowledgeable and helpful. If your company is not sure what fungal resistance test is most appropriate, we can help you choose. To help, the company has put together a handy comparison of the four main fungal resistance test methods . If your firm already knows which test is most suitable to evaluate the antifungal characteristics of your product, simply request a price quote .
“Dr. Tanner and the entire team at Antimicrobial Test Laboratories have been an essential partner for EcoActive Surfaces over the years of our product research and development. Their deep knowledge of microbiology and a willingness to explore proper evaluation of our unique antimicrobial chemistry has been key to our success.
Sometimes, however, companies that make antimicrobial devices and chemicals need more advice than the laboratory can comfortably provide. For that reason we gladly share our network of antimicrobial regulatory consultants. Below, we provide information about several regulatory consulting firms.
If your company is interested in initiating a project, we encourage you to call or send us an email. We will be glad to share our initial impressions and do our best to categorize your product from a regulatory perspective. If we are unsure of the best approach with regard to EPA or FDA regulations, we'll let you know.
