APC was founded in 1990 to provide General Contracting services to Owners, Developers and Managers in the municipal, commercial and residential markets. The staff, headed by Joseph D. Gibson, the firm's President & CEO, is completely focused on the timely completion of every detail.

Joseph D. Gibson President Mr. Joseph Gibson is a seasoned construction executive with more than 30 years experience in the construction industry. Founding APC in 1990, Mr. Gibson is a hands-on principal who continuously visits ongoing projects to ensure the highest quality of workmanship and client satisfaction. His dynamic leadership is based not only on his years of experience and technical knowledge, but on his willingness to listen carefully, and assess a situation from all angles.

APC has extensive experience with a wide variety of Municipal projects. APC is the Contractor of choice for a broad array of diverse municipal clients, including the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) the New York State Office of General Services (NYSOGS) and the Dormitory Authority of the State of New York (DASNY). While every complex project requires leadership, reliability, and attention to detail APC goes further on municipal jobs, because we know each organization is unique in terms of its methods and goals.

In our dedication to teaching proper safety and journeymen skills we have established Apprenticeship Training programs sanctioned and approved by the NYS Department of Labor. These programs have enabled us to work with community groups by hiring local unskilled residents. Working through a two tiered process of classroom and on the job training, we have enrolled these new hires into two year programs. Once completed, participants are graduated from apprentice to journeyman status.
