A credit union is a not-for-profit, member-owned financial cooperative that is democratically operated by its members. Unlike ordinary banks, which are driven to provide profit for shareholders, credit unions return excess earnings to members by offering low or no-fee services, lower interest rates for loans, and higher yields on savings and investment accounts. At Apex Community FCU, we do this while providing friendly personal service, in the atmosphere of a community institution where customers are also neighbors.
