Description

Apex Tool Works manufactures the Swangren RLS-8 and also designs and manufactures the tooling used by the machine, eliminating the need for customers to separately source machines and tooling, thus helping to reduce total system costs while ensuring complete compatibility between machines and tooling.

Wholly owned by APEX TOOL WORKS, INC., the Swangren Machine Division develops and manufactures a complete line of machinery and equipment used for production of lug caps, and for compound pouring, cut-and-place lining, and for specialty closure operations including blanking, trimming, flanging, curling, beading, upsetting and hemming.

Apex manufactures a full range of precision tooling and associated parts for the production of lug (twist-off) caps, threaded jar caps and similar closures. All tooling is produced from superior quality carbide and tool steels for high performance and long service life, and is available to fit the full line of Swangren machines, as well as other types of cap making machinery.

Apex doesn't just manufacture container tooling and component parts - we also provide a full range of support services. For example, all Apex tooling is cataloged by a unique part number and engineering drawing for fast, convenient reordering along with assurance of exact duplication of replacement parts. And, utilizing our computerized parts programming system, we store manufacturing programs to promptly translate your latest engineering changes into new manufacturing specifications.
