API Precision Machining, Incorporated, was established in 1945 as Commerce Welding and Mfg., Incorporated This independent machining business was started by Charles S. Hejkal and his co-worker, Clarence Grieving. In 1957, Mr. Hejkal and Mr. Grieving established a "sister" company called Aircraft Products, Incorporated Aircraft Products secured contracts with several international companies and has earned a stellar reputation for quality work and customer satisfaction. In October 2002, ownership of the company was realigned to include partnership of Mr. Hejkal and his daughters, Karla Hejkal Chandler and Karen Hejkal Lynch. In July 2003, Aircraft Products, Incorporated, became a certified woman-owned business known as API Precision Machining, Inc. under the direction of Karla Chandler and Karen Lynch. Quality products and services provided by API Precision Machining, Incorporated continue to be a priority of our 65 year-old company. Our company has been recognized for its outstanding reputation: Supplier Award and Roll of Honor in the Smithsonian Institution
