Description

The Association of Professional Landscape Designers (APLD) is an international organization founded in 1989. Our mission is to advance the profession of landscape design and to promote the recognition of landscape designers as qualified and dedicated professionals. APLD members adhere to a code of professional standards, encourage continuing education, and stay up to date about new developments and latest trends throughout the field.

As the conference and events director, Jen plans and executes events by working with the international program chair and committee and the education chair and committee; making speaker arrangements; negotiating all conference details including hotel, meal and transportation; continuing arrangements with the hotel throughout the event; providing support to the committee and others involved in the conference and/or webinars prior to the events; follow-up with all aspects of the conference and/or webinars; and handles all onsite event management.
