Apple Tree Dental operates a comprehensive mobile dental service to provide on-site care to nursing homes, group homes, Head Start centers, schools, and assisted living facilities. Our goal is to provide appropriate, necessary and cost-effective dental care to residents who would otherwise have to travel to see the dentist. The advantage, especially when working with the elderly or disabled residents, is that the care center is a familiar place, so the dental appointment becomes easier and less stressful on the patient.

The Red River Valley Dental Access Project was initiated in 1997 by Apple Tree Dental and the Oral Health America Foundation and founded in 2000 with the support from Dakota Medical Foundation. The Project is an oral health coalition committed to improving access to oral health care. Dentists, hygienists, dental assistants, government and public health agencies, dental educators, and others work together in a partnership to improve access to dental care.

Apple Tree is proud to support the mission work of Project Homeless Connect, an innovative program that works to end homelessness in Minneapolis and St. Paul . Apple Tree works with the agencies that organize these annual and semi-annual events and we provide our mobile dental equipment and volunteers from our staff to create a one-day mobile dental clinic. Dental care is one of Project Homeless Connect's most requested services among homeless men, women and families.
