Description
Jason Little is a veteran of the United States Navy and graduated from Marshall University in 2007. Jason has worked in the behavioral health field for over 12 years as a direct care provider, Service Coordinator, and Therapeutic Consultant. Jason has been with ABLC since 2012.
Malena Scalise is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with a Master's Degree in Psychology. Malena takes an active role in training therapists, writing programs, and raising funds for ABLC. In addition, she evaluates the children on a regular basis to ensure that all progress at a successful rate. She has over 17 years of experience working with children with autism by utilizing the Applied Behavior Analysis Model.
Ben Coll graduated from Marshall University with a B.A. in 2006, and has over 12 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. In that time, Ben has worked as both direct care staff and as a Therapeutic Consultant. Ben joined ABLC as an ABA therapist in January 2013.
ABLC was founded in 2009 by Malena Scalise, MA, BCBA. While in school, a professor recognized her gift with children, and her passion for assisting children with autism has allowed her to help many families in the Charleston regional area. With his advice she decided to begin her career as an "in-home" therapist over 17 years ago providing Applied Behavior Analysis therapy on a one-to-one basis. Malena takes an active role in the day to day operations of ABLC by training therapist, writing programs and raising funds for the center.
