In the past 50+ years we have grown from a single product, privately owned company to a world leader in chelated copper and algae control technology.We began with the first chelated copper algaecide over 50 years ago which was trademarked "Cutrine". This product was reformulated and improved significantly enough to earn new patents and the new name, "Cutrine-Plus". This name is now virtually synonymous with the generic term, chelated copper algaecide. The product line has expanded, and most recently, the development of Applied Biochemists' latest product, Clearigate, has given the aquatic and agricultural industry a new and extremely effective tool in safely managing irrigation systems as well as other bodies of water where irrigation restrictions are of a concern.Responsibilities for our product line is being managed by an experienced team of dedicated individuals including degreed biologists, chemists, and other science professionals. This group devotes their full attention to this product line, and both field assistance and home office support are provided. Their hands-on experience in product application to ponds, reservoirs, aquascapes, irrigation waters, drainage systems, aquaculture facilities and other use sites is readily shared.
