Applied Computer Systems, Inc., the developer and manufacturer of the LINK System, was founded in 1971. ACS moved its development focuses exclusively to the education market in the early 1980’s. On March 13, 1984, Donald Lacy, founder of ACS and inventor of the LINK System, filed for a patent for the LINK System and was granted that patent on July 21, 1987. Since its inception, the LINK System has been installed in thousands of classrooms and has provided instructors with an intuitive yet powerful classroom management system.

Applied Computer Systems, Inc. (ACS) has been in business for over 40 years and over those years has focused on engineering, selling and installing LINK System computer classroom management solutions. Our extensive clientele includes every branch of the United States military, government entities, corporations, hospitals, banks, airlines, universities, colleges, primary and secondary schools.
