As the ICN began to update the backbone of their network and migrate from ISDN to IP in 2007, they began understanding the complexities of their video needs. The ICN was providing legacy video services via a Polycom MGC bridge. The ICN realized that in order to stay current with the advances in technology and changing needs and requirements of their user base, which included education, medicine, judicial system, government agencies and the National Guard, they needed to evolve their offering to the next generation of video services.
