The HIM/Compliance division is looking for an experienced health information coding specialist to provide on-site coding support and compliance auditing to our clients throughout New England and the East Coast. Minimum of two years inpatient and outpatient coding experience in an acute care hospital environment is required. CCS, RHIT or RHIA preferred. Knowledge of all reimbursement methodologies, including PPS and APC’s. MEDITECH, QUADRAMED and 3M experience preferred. Some travel required.

The Systems Engineering Group (SEG) of Applied Management Systems, Inc. (AMS) is seeking a senior consultant to provide laboratory consulting services to hospital and laboratory clients throughout the United States. Consulting engagements include laboratory benchmarking and operational assessments, feasibility studies for lab consolidations, outreach profitability analyses and strategic planning, billing and reimbursement studies, workflow and process studies, lab accreditation readiness engagements, and other related projects.
