APT specializes in working with retailers, manufacturers and distributors to facilitate their active participation in utility sponsored programs that are designed to increase sales of energy efficient products. The programs we design, implement, and evaluate operate at all levels of the market from the manufacture of energy efficient products, to distribution and final sale to consumers. We also provide customized training programs designed to motivate sales personnel, improve sales and encourage energy conservation.

APT provides energy efficiency program implementation services to clients throughout the country. We specialize in market based programs, working with a broad range of industries actors to further the availability, promotion and increased sale of energy efficient equipment.

APT’s long term, national experience in all facets of program design and implementation means that we have substantial in-house knowledge of past program successes…and failures. APT has more experience managing retail based utility sponsored incentive programs than any firm in the country. We have more senior and mid-level Managers devoted to managing specifically these types of programs, and far more Field Representatives working locally to support client programs than any firm in the energy efficiency industry.

Our philosophy is to work collaboratively with each client and foster a process of open and ongoing communication. Our objective is always to develop a complete understanding of the expected program objectives and all regulatory requirements that may impact program development and deployment. This process allows us to construct programs based on best practices that have been tried and tested over time.
