Bob Doctor 2009 PT Service Awards This award, named for a dear friend of many and one of the most fantastic Colorado Chapter volunteers of all time, recognizes APTA members for their valuable and exceptional service to the APTA/Colorado Chapter. Five recipients were selected for the award this year, but only three were presented. The other two will receive their awards at the Spring Convention on April 24, 2010. Awards were presented by Chapter President Amy Stone Hammerich.. The quality of physical therapy in a corporate setting has advanced many times over because of this Bob Doctor award recipient. Earning an MSPT from Regis University in 1998, this physical therapist started out as a staff PT, soon became a center manager and is now the regional clinical coordinator at Select Physical Therapy. In this position, she oversees education and professional development. She is married and the mother of two daughters and is an affiliate faculty member at Regis University. She has worked with the Colorado Chapter since 1998 in various capacities. She never hesitates to volunteer and has served on the Chapter
