In the warm, comfortable surroundings of the Pinery, we provide high quality residential treatment for individuals with brain injuries, strokes and dementia. Our highly skilled staff at The Pinery assist our participants in being as independent as possible. We also provide training for individuals in the areas of cognitive, social, emotional, and physical needs. This significantly increases both the quality of life and the ability for participants to maintain their overall health and well-being.

Aurora Residential Alternatives (ARA) was founded in 1986 in Wisconsin to provide high quality, individualized, community based services to individuals requiring supportive services. In 2009, Aurora brought that same vision of services to Colorado.

My name is Sandy Kahl. My son Derrek has been a resident with Aurora for over 14 years. Derrek is a multi-handicapped individual who requires a lot of care. Aurora has been a true lifesaver for Derrek and our entire family. The staff, directors, and every member of the Aurora family are fantastic. These individuals are truly caring, giving people who dedicate their entire lives for their residents. The quality of life that my son enjoys is exceptional thanks to the Aurora staff.

Aurora Community Counseling was established in 1996 to provide professional community-based counseling resources to the Wisconsin community. Through our licensed outpatient Mental Health Clinics, Aurora's skilled therapists assist individuals, couples, families, groups, and businesses with a wide range of emotional and mental health issues.
