Individuals with Developmental Disabilities are eligible for services through the Regional Center System.
Carl Ochsner is a retired Executive Director with over 35 years of experience in California-based agencies. He currently consults with vocational training programs. Carl is an active member of the California Disability Services Association and has served as President of its Board of Directors.
We provide intensive supportive living services for a two year (approximate) period with the ultimate goal of maximizing the participant’s potential and ultimately live as independently as possible.
Founded in 1953 by a group of concerned parents wanting a fulfilling life for their children, The Arc began in a makeshift classroom at a local park facility. The Arc of Fresno and Madera Counties has grown from this small beginning to an organization that covers two counties of the Central Valley. The Arc serves over 650 individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities with a professional staff of 185 in eight program settings.
The primary goal of the adult day programs is to provide a “best practice” experience which meets the personal needs of each program participant. Clients will have the opportunity to participate in various training activities, including community outings. Adult day programs are located in Fresno, Kerman, Reedley and Madera and are open to individuals that are referred by the Central Valley Regional Center.
