Archipelago Hawaii is a dream fulfilled by founder and award-winning designer Tiare Noelani Pinto (CKD, Allied ASID,CGP). Tiare established TCB Island Interiors, Slipcovers, Etc., Designs By Tiare and also co-owned Studio Becker-Honolulu. In 2007 TCB Island Interiors merged with Studio Becker to form Archipelago Hawaii. Tiare brings 25 years of experience in the design industry; furniture sales and design, upholstery/slip cover manufacturing, interior design, as well as kitchen and bath design. This vast knowledge of the industry and all of the various elements that go into designing a home bring her clients the most comprehensive service available in Hawaii. Archipelago Hawaii has been designing interiors, kitchens and baths in collaboration with Architects for years. This experience has brought to light the disconnect that so often happens when several experts are brought in on a project at different phases. This compelled Tiare to create a design Team; bringing together the designer, structural engineer, general contractor and any other specialists necessary for each project.

Matt is a residential architect, licensed in Hawaii, a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and a LEED Accredited Professional. Matt’s 12 years of experience in luxury home design and project management have given him a sensitivity to the unique requirements of each project. His careful attention to detail and his regard for the needs of his clients, contribute greatly to the success of his work. His additional background in fine arts and commercial architecture facilitate creative solutions during the design process. Matt‘s contributions help the Archipelago team and their clients maximize the potential of their projects.
