A Minnesota-born company, Arete HealthFit was founded by Siros Jabari in August 1999. Siros has over 19 years of work experience in the health, fitness and weight loss industry. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in both Exercise Science and Public Health & Nutrition from the University of Minnesota. He also holds certifications from the American College of Sports Medicine and the National Strength & Conditioning Association. In personal fitness training alone, Siros has worked with literally hundreds of clients. Leaving his last position as Executive Director of Health and Wellness Promotion for Lifetime Fitness, Siros sought to create a new company where excellence was the bottom line. In fact, Excellence is in our name. The Greek word Arete, roughly translated, means striving for excellence physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
