Created by a partnership between Daryl Arita and Robert Poulson in 1986 Arita/Poulson General Contracting started in commercial interiors and residential construction. Within two years ground up commercial construction was added to the areas of pursuit. Since then and several rewards later the company has grown to handle contracts throughout the state of Hawaii on all islands. At Arita/Poulson we believe the keys to success are a healthy relationship with our clients and reliable communication within the company. Many of our employees have been with the company for seven years or more. Arita/Poulson has always stressed pride in workmanship. There is a long history of testimony from satisfied business relations attesting to excellence of work. Company specialties are wide and flexible and include concrete and masonry, structural steel, general carpentry, millwork, cabinetry and fine finish carpentry, painting, and wall papering. In addition to general contracting, construction management and design build services are important consulting tools that are offered to project teams and our clients.
