Sensei Mike Armstrong (The Blind Sensei) is the owner and main instructor of the APPA (Arizona Personal Protection Academy). Sensei Armstrong has devoted over 25 years of his life to the Martial Arts. He has received rank and still trains in multiple different systems such as Kyokushin Karate, Aiki Jujitsu, Ken-Jitsu, Chanbara, Fuji ki, Shaolin Kung Fu, Kempo, Tai Chi and CDT. He has been featured on several news programs and news papers in Arizona and Hawaii. In 2003 he was indoctrinated in to the World Karate Union Hall of Fame for outstanding achievements in the Martial Arts. For more than half of his life he has been developing and refining his Art. He has been extremely fortunate to have had some of the best instructors in the world.
